It's time to start using a REAL Operating System, Challenger is the perfect choice for hard disk diagnostics and data recovery. Challenger OS is also excellent as a desktop for entertainment and work.

Burning ChallengerOS iso to a DVD ChallengerOS iso file can be burned into a blank DVD using integrated burning utility of your computer. Make sure burning the iso, not copy the iso into a DVD. After burning, DVD label should be "CHALLENGER" and you should see into DVD the following folders:

  1. EFI
  2. BOOT
  3. DRIVERS
  4. HOME
  5. ISOLINUX

Burning with Rufus

Download Rufus from site https://rufus.ie/

  1. Press button "Select" and locate ChallengerOS iso file
  2. Select USB Drive where you want to burn Challenger
  3. Press Start Button

Burning with Balena Etcher

Etcher is a great and easy to use iso burning tool. Etcher works in Windows,OS and Linux. Download Etcher https://www.balena.io/etcher/

  1. Press "Select Image" button and locate ChallengerOS iso file
  2. Press "Select Drive"Â button and choose your usb stick drive
  3. Press Flash Drive Button

Burning Challenger into a USB Stick can be performed also from ChallengerOS itself.

If you booted your computer with challengerOS ( from a DVD as example ) just select Challenger Installer from Menu or Desktop Icon

  1. Press "Live USB" button
  2. Select Device

Booting Your Computer with ChallengerOS

Once USB Bootable Drive is created, you need to boot your computer using ChallengerOS.

  1. Power Off your computer
  2. Insert USB Stick into USB Port ( any usb 2.0 or 3.0 port )
  3. Power on your computer pressing Boot Device Selection Key ( please refer on your computer manual )
  4. Wait ChallengerOS Boot process ( it will take about 20/30 seconds )
